Who We Are
Rescue Paws 4 Furry Hearts is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue based in South Florida (Broward/ Miami-Dade County) founded by Sandra McGlynn.
We have rescued over 1,000 dogs since the rescue began in 2015. We rely solely on our volunteers and generous donations from our supporters/fellow animal lovers.
Our mission is to rescue abandoned, neglected, at-risk dogs from our local shelters/streets and love them back to health. We strive to find forever loving homes for the dogs we save and ensure they receive the love and care they deserve.

Ewok
Meet Ewok!
DOB: August 2nd, 2025)
Ewok is a funny, independent little pup with lots of personality! He’s full of energy and loves to play - especially with his brother, Wookie. He can play a bit rough sometimes and is very curious, always finding something new to chew on (shoes and socks are his favorites ). He’s learning quickly, though, and listens more every day when told “no.”
He’s crate trained and eats in his crate but still has some occasional potty accidents — we’re working on it! He’s doing better on the leash and is starting to understand the routine.
Ewok is great with other dogs, though he can be a little shy at first, especially around larger groups. Once he warms up, he’s all in! He’s wonderful with my own dog and loves being part of the pack.
We will be taking him this weekend for his first set of vaccines.
Ewok is such a sweet, smart boy - he just needs a loving home to keep teaching him and helping him grow! ❤️
Ewok is available for foster-to-adopt locally. Our clinic is located in Miramar, where he will need to return for his neuter appointment and the rest of the vaccines once he’s old enough.
